Summary: A three month survey was conducted to investigate the concentration levels of several of the more persistent air pollutants, i. e. , hydrocarbons, photochemical oxidants, suspended particulate matter and lead. Samples were collected at various sites in a rural community (population 14,800) in Eastern Pennsylvania. Results indicated that no pollution problem existed during the survey interval. Analytical data for the pollutants are presented.
